Mrs. Barbara Ellen Griffith Vipperman, age 66, of Mount Airy, NC, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2019. She was born on November 8, 1952 to the late Denzer James Griffith and Georgia Mae Underwood Griffith. Mrs. Griffith is survived by her loving husband, Billy Vipperman; one daughter, Sue Ellen Woods and husband, Bro.

Buggie; two granddaughters, Sara Galarza and husband, Paul and Brittany Woods and fiancé, Ricky Silenzi; three great-grandchildren, Keagan Galarza, Sofia Galarza, and Laya Galarza; one sister, Linda Martin and husband, Leon; and seven brothers, Harley Griffith and wife, Rosetta, Howard Griffith, David Griffith, Wayne Griffith, J.D. Griffith and wife, Shirley, Raymond Griffith and wife, Helen, and Kenneth Griffith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Billy Paul Vipperman; a sister, Irene Cochran; one niece, Jennifer Overby; and two nephews, Roger Griffith and Michael Griffith. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday March 29, 2019 at 4 P.M. at True Word Baptist Church with Bro.

Buggie Woods and Bro. David Joyce officiating. Interment will follow at True Word Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday March 29, 2019 from 3:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at True Word Baptist Church. Cox-Needham Funeral Home of Pilot Mountain (www. coxneedham.com, www.
