Mr. Robert Elijah Goins, Sr. age 77, of Tobaccoville, NC, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Woltz Hospice Care, Dobson. He was born on April 18, 1941 to Eugene Monroe and Della Loggins Goins. Mr. Goins is loved and missed by his wife; Theresa Goins, two sons; John A. (Melissa) Goins and Robert (Carol) Goins Jr., two daughters; Ellen Smiley, Wanda (James) Brewer, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, son-in-law; J. Ray Mabe.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Monroe and Della Loggins Goins, daughter; Tammy Mabe, three brothers; James Goins, Alfred Goins, and Chester Goins, two sisters; Mary Hauser and Mildred Darnell A special thank you to William Hauser for all his help to Robert over the years. A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at, Friends Union Church with Pastor Ronnie Brown and Minister Mike Darnell officiating The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 1:00 P.M to 2:00 P.M at Friends Union Church.
