Obituary for Roger Lane Marsh Roger Lane Marsh 72, of Napier, WV passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 at United Hospital Center, Bridgeport, WV. He was born November 30, 1946 in Sutton, WV to the late Ray Marsh and Lola Jane (Hardman) Marsh. Those surviving are son, Travis Lane “Tom” Marsh, Shinnston, WV; brothers, William R. “Ronnie” Marsh and wife Cynthia, Good Hope, WV and Michael E. “Mike” Marsh, Cleveland, OH.

Also surviving is sister, Shanda Marsh Casto, Bridgeport, WV. Roger enjoyed fishing and especially liked catching catfish and frying them up. He enjoyed music especially blue grass music by Ralph Stanley.

He also was a square dance caller and was a very good dancer. He worked at Eaton in Cleveland OH as a machine operator in the automobile industry. He was an avid college and pro football fan and his favorite teams was the Cleveland Browns and the West Virginia University Mountaineers.

He had a heart of gold and loved his family and friends. There will be a time of fellowship on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Road, Flatwoods, WV 26621 with a celebration of life service at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Jason Allen officiating. In honoring Mr. Marsh’s wishes he will be cremated.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, P.O. Box 292, Flatwoods, WV 26621. Fond memories and condolences can be shared with the family at stockert-paletti.com.
