Roger O. Weiss, 75, of Denver, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2019 at Parker Senior Living by Morningstar in Parker, CO. Roger was born March 23, 1943 to Orval Weiss and Susan Schreiber in Hudson, WI and grew-up on the family farm in Roberts, WI. He met and married the love of his life, Jean Pavlick at the University of Wisconsin at Madison.

He spent his career with AT&T and the “baby bells” in Milwaukee, Denver and Phoenix. Roger and Jean, built their home and raised their boys on top of Bear Mountain in Evergreen, CO. Later, they were transferred to Scottsdale, AZ where they helped raise their grandchildren and Jean flew for AmericaWest Airlines.

They retired to a sailboat, the Tigger II, on which they sailed the West Coast of Mexico, the South Pacific, Australia, and Southeast Asia. Preceding him in death were his beloved wife, Jean, and his sister Carrol. He is survived by his brothers Donald and Jerry, his sons, Shawn and Brandon and his grandchildren, Anthony, Brooke, Myissa, and Calista.

His ashes, along with those of his wife, Jean, will be spread into the Pacific Ocean that they enjoyed so much in life. A Memorial Service will be held Ponderosa Valley Funeral Services, Parker CO at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019. A Reception will follow at the home of Brandon and Ann Weiss.
