Romaine Pavel, 86, passed away on September 29, 2018, at Lima Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 1, 1931, to Elmer and Mary (Rupert) Dray. She was united in marriage to Leon Pavel, he preceded her in death.

She is survived by 4 daughters, Brenda (Ron) Eickholt of Oak Harbor, Ohio, Kathy (Andy) Defibaugh of Rushsylvania, Ohio, Sandy (Mark) Leedy of Lima and Dollie (Dave) Elling of Beaverdam; 2 sons, Rob Pavel of Ft. Jennings and Eric (Sherry) Pavel of Delphos; one brother, John (Mary Ann) Dray of Delphos; 20 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by 2 grandsons, Jesse Pavel and Paul Eickholt; 5 sisters, Carolyn, Lill, Marjorie, and infants Charlotte and Rosemary and 5 brothers, Harold, Walter, David, Gene and Jim Dray.

She enjoyed going to the thrift shop and garage sales. She loved all animals especially her cat Milo. She enjoyed flowers, fishing and spending time with her family.

A graveside service will be held at a later date. Contributions may be made to the Delphos VFW Post 3035.
