Roman Charles Katrinic of Flint, Michigan May 1, 1983 – March 12, 2019 KATRINIC, Mr. Roman C. – age 35, of Flint, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019. A memorial service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, March 16, 2019 at South Flint Tabernacle, G 3450 S. Saginaw St., Burton, MI 48529. Pastor Jason McGhee officiating.

Mr. Roman Charles Katrinic was born May 1, 1983 in Enid, OK the son of Robert “Leatherman” and Connie Katrinic. Roman graduated from Tabernacle Christian Academy in 2001. He continued his studies at Mott Community College and obtained certification in HVAC.

What he loved most was spending time with his family. His children Gabby and Little Roman were his world. Roman loved watching cooking shows, arts, music and spending time outside.

He was an amazing artist and natural musician. One of his favorite places was the Flint Institute of Arts. When Roman loved, he loved with his entire being.

The things that brought him the most joy were family dinners and the Katrinic family Port Huron camping trips. Mr. Roman Katrinic leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Gabriella Grace; son, Roman Charles II; parents, Robert and Connie Katrinic; brother, Robert (Bree) Katrinic of Holland, MI; sisters, Leah (Brandon) Carpenter of Atlanta, GA and Amber (Steven) Foster of Belleville, ON; grandmother, Minnie Baughman of Port Richey, FL; nephews, Nolan Foster, Lorenzo Carpenter, Preston and Brennon Katrinic; niece, Annika Foster; uncle, Randy (Mary) Dewar; aunts Linda Dewar, Sandra (Dennis) Bellinger and Michele Katrinic; a host of other relatives and friends including special friend and mother of his children, Alexis Donnelly. Roman was preceded in death by his grandparents.

The family would like to express special thanks to Pastor McGhee and the South Flint Tabernacle family for their overwhelming love and support. The countless calls, and texts from family and friends and the never ending prayers for Roman and his children. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his children’s Go Fund Me page.
