Romeo Alvarez Montas, 76 of Belleville, entered into eternal rest on February 14, 2019. Born in Daraga, Albay, Philippines, he lived in Belleville for the past 20 years. He was employed with Villa Victoria Associates in Newark before retiring.

He is the beloved husband of Fermina Montas, cherished father of Jay, James, Jacqueline, Joy Montas and Jamielou Montas Beroy, loving brother of Teresita Montas, Norma Montas, Susan Canatsey & Edmundo Montas. He is also the proud and loving grandfather of Jasmine & Julliana Beroy, Jose Louis & Sophia Margareth Amistoso. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 20th and Friday, February 22nd from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (NO VISITATION ON THURSDAY – FEB.

21st). The family kindly requests that only white flowers be sent to the services. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 63 Franklin St., Belleville, NJ.

(Time to be announced) Cremation Service will follow at Rosedale Crematory, Orange, NJ.
