Ron’s Obituary New Bern, NC MSgt William Ronald Calfee, USMC, Ret. answered reveille 25 Mar. 2019.

A native of Mercer County, WV, Ron loved being in the Marine Corp and was active in the VFW Post 7315 in Havelock. Whenever he had the chance, Ron would be out on the golf course at Carolina Pines or the base course. Sadly, Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Reda, and his daughter, Charlene.

Ron is survived by his wonderful grandchildren, Jayci and Jake Smith, of New Bern, NC; his brother-in-law Arnold Minnix, and wife Judy, of Oak Island, NC; his sisters-in-law, June O’Donnell, of Dallas, TX; and Donna Ruby, of Hickory, NC; along with many nieces and nephews.
