OBITUARY Ronald Arthur DONELSON May 30, 1947 – September 3, 2018 DONELSON, RONALD “RON” ARTHUR, age 71 of Trussville, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Sam Donelson. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Judy Donelson; daughters, Denise Clayton (Brian) and Veronica Freind (Jonathan); grandchildren, Tyler Platt, Brooke Platt, Micah Clayton, Seath Clayton , Trey Clayton, Matthew Clayton, River Freind and Piper Freind; brothers, Jerry Donelson and Louis Donelson (Jo Ann); sister, Marleen Hawkins (Terry); and several nieces and nephews.

Ron was a member of Central Baptist Church; Georgiana Davis Masonic Lodge, where he was a Past Master, and Zamora Shrine Temple; Trussville Country Club; and Cross Connections Bowling Team. He loved playing golf, bowling and fishing. His family will celebrate his life on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 5-7 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel.

His service will be at the chapel on Friday, September 7, 2018 beginning at 11 AM. Entombment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
