Ronald’s Obituary Ronald B. Nace, 74, of Souderton, PA passed away on March 28, 2019 at Souderton Mennonite Home. He was the beloved husband of 54 years to Judy A. (nee Kulp) Nace. Born September 1, 1944 in Lansdale, PA he was the son of the late Margaretta (nee Ortman) Nace and the late Robert C. Nace, Sr

He was a 1962 graduate of North Penn High School, and a United States Army Veteran who proudly, honorably, and faithfully served his country during the Vietnam War. Ronald was a member of the Souderton American Legion Post #234 , and had been actively involved for over 30 years with the Souderton Area Baseball & Softball League as a coach and manager, and had also served that organization as it’s President. He had been employed for many years as a Truck Driver and also as a Warehouse Man.

He enjoyed being a Lionel Train enthusiast, fishing, and being an avid fan of all of the Philadelphia Professional Sports Teams and considering himself a “4 for 4” Fan. What he enjoyed most of all was being a big supporter of all of his grandchildren’s activities, and spending time with his family. Ronald will always be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

Ronald is also survived by his children, Amy Blessing (Robert), of Harleysville, Matthew Nace (Angela), of Perkasie, and Andrew Nace (Samantha), of Hatfield, his six grandchildren, Nicholas and Anthony Blessing, Alyssa, Alexander, and Madalynne Nace, and Anastasia Nace, his siblings, Deborah Gorrell (Dale), of Hatfield, and Linda McMurray (Michael), of Jacksonville, FL. He was also preceded in death by his brother, the late Robert C. Nace, Jr., and his step-mother, the late Marie Wenhold. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 10:00-11:30 AM at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446 where his Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 AM.

Burial with Military Funeral Honors will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA. The family has respectfully requested that all flowers be omitted, and that those desiring to do so may make a memorial contribution in his name to the Souderton Area Baseball & Softball League, PO Box 64766, Souderton, PA 18964, and which would be deeply appreciated by his family.
