Ronald D. Kopriva Harmony Township Ronald D. Kopriva, 78, of Harmony Twp. died Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Good Samaritan Hospice Beaver. Born October 23, 1940, in Conway, a son of the late August and Grace (Meder) Kopriva.

Ron worked 38 years for the Pennsylvania, Penn Control, Conrail and Norfolk Southern Railroads. He also held the position of Secretary of the United Transportation Union for many years. He was a member of Good Samaritan Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta (Kerzan) Kopriva on May 6, 2014, and his brother, Jack Kopriva. Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Mark and Jody Kopriva, Cranberry Twp. and Ronald Kopriva, Ambridge; five grandchildren, Joseph, Paiton, Andrew, Carson and Luke Kopriva.

Friends will be received on Friday, May 24, 2019 from 3 to 8 p.m. at BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. , 1099 Maplewood Ave. , Ambridge, where a service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at Good Samaritan Church at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.

The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful and caring people and everyone who has provided care to Ron throughout the years.
