Ronald E. Miller passed away on December 28, 2018. Ron was born July 30, 1936 to Lodeema Miller (nee Gunton) and Russell E. Miller of Euclid, Ohio. He grew up in Euclid before going into the US Navy, where he served aboard the USS Iowa.

After the USS Iowa was decommissioned, he served on the USS Wagner. After 4 years of service in the US Navy he married his sweetheart, Frances L. Miller (nee Fernandez) on May 14, 1960. Ron went on to be a Maintenance Mechanic/Foreman/Planner at Lubrizol.

After… Read More » 37 ½ years he retired in 1995. Ron was instrumental in the construction of St. Noel’s Catholic Church party center in Willoughby Hills. After his retirement, he oversaw the construction of the Body of Christ Community Church in Willoughby where he was a parishioner.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Fran and his children, Ronelle Miller-Hood (Timothy Hood) of Aurora, Mark (Sharmalee) Miller of Euclid. Grandchildren, Joshua Barnard, Matthew Barnard, Brittany Miller, Jonathan Hood, Daniel Miller, Jennifer Hood, Brianna Miller and Great Grandson Matthew Bamard; Brother, Dennis A. Miller (Mary Ellen); Sister, Penny Miller; 5 nieces and nephews, and many loving friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; Russell and Lodeema, brothers; Kenneth, and Tim and his sister, Carol.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday Jan. 4, 2019 at 11 AM at Body of Christ Community Church, 38057 Erie Rd, Willoughby Oh. 44094 with a light lunch to follow.

The family will receive friends at Body of Christ Community Church Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 6-8 pm and Friday January 4, 2019 from 10-11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Body of Christ Community Church.
