Ronald H. Orme was called home on August 31, 2018, after a brief medical battle. In his last days, he was surrounded by beloved family and friends. Born March 13, 1935 to Clarence and Rosemary Orme of Stearns, KY.

, he spent his youth playing basketball in school and serving as lifeguard at the Stearns Golf Course Pool. He studied at The University of Kentucky and spent his career as a Chemical Engineer with Ashland Oil Company. His retirement was spent in Stearns and Lexington, KY. Ron is survived by: two daughters; Theresa Hughes (Ken), and Joni Stafford (Paul) 3 Grand Children, Sean Stafford (Mary Kate), Christopher Stafford, Leah White (Steven & Liam), all of Lexington, son Larry Orme (Barbara), 4 Grand Children, Rick, Dale, Austin, & Lauren, and 3 great grandchildren. Ron is also survived by three sisters Brenda, Marita, Sandra, 2 nieces and 2 nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Clark Legacy Center 601 E. Brannon Rd. , Nicholasville, KY. 40356 on Saturday, September 8th at 11:00am.

A gathering of family and friends will follow until 2:00 pm. www.
