Ronald Paul Spence, 74 Beloved father and grandfather, Ronald Paul Spence, 74, of Mullan, Idaho, passed away peacefully at his home on July 30, 2018. Ronald was born on May 5, 1944, in Modesto, California; he was the son of Vestel and Margaret (Page) Spence. Ronald grew up in Ceres, California where he attended and graduated from the Ceres High School.

Ronald married his beautiful wife, Faye Moss, in Nevada and had two children; Jeromy and Christy. Ronald held many jobs in his younger years including working at a family friends liquor store and working in Las Vegas as a flume cleaner for the casino kitchens. Ultimately, Ronald found a career working for Builders Choice for over 25 years, until he retired.

Ronald lived with his son, Jeromy, in Nampa, Idaho for over 2 1/2 years but ended up settling in Mullan, Idaho in 2012. Ronald loved being surrounded by trees, it’s what drew him to live in the Silver Valley. Ronald was an avid fisherman and hunter.

It was said that he loved to hunt and fish for “anything he could get a license for”. His other favorite past time was to go for rides in his side-by-side into the woods and to any lakes he could discover; he loved the scenery. Ronald is survived by his son, Jeromy Spence of Nampa, Idaho, as well as his daughter Christy Spence of California; two handsome grandsons, Cohen and Brantley; and his sister Margaret.
