Ronald “Ron”‘s Obituary Ronald “Ron” Peterson of Rush City passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul at the age of 76. Ronald Everett Peterson was born August 22, 1942 to Everett and Angela (Ropotar) Peterson in Rush City, Minnesota. Ron was the owner of Rush Lake Resort.

Ron is survived by Marilyn Fessenden, Tom Fessenden both of Rush City, Kim (Asnaka) Getahun of St. Paul, Tracy (Paul) Gullerud of Rush City; 10 grandchildren; cousins Anthony (Lois) Kochevar of New Prague, Robert Carpenter of Wisconsin, Reverend Jeri (LeRoy) Bergquist of Rush City, Dr. Greg (Joanna) Peterson of Fergus Falls. He is preceded in death by his parents Everett and Angie Peterson; brother Doug Peterson. A celebration of Ron’s life will be at 5 PM; Thursday, March 28, 2019 with a time of visitation and reviewal planned for one hour prior to the service all at the Olson Funeral Chapel in Rush City.

The interment will take place at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Rush City. Memorial designations may be directed to the Rush City High School Athletic Department. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the: Funeral and Cremation Service of Rush City ~ Olson Chapel www.
