Ronald S. Sekscenski, 76, of Cromwell, husband of Jane (Stockman) Sekscenski, passed away Wednesday (March 6, 2019) at Cassena Care in New Britain. Born in New Britain, son of the late Stanley and Victoria (Kukowski) Sekscenski, he was a longtime Cromwell resident and former Kensington resident. Ron was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Korea during the Vietnam Conflict and worked at TM Industries in East Berlin for over 20 years, retiring in 1996.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Church in East Berlin, the South Kensington Volunteer Fire Department and a former member of American Legion Post 68 in Berlin. Besides his wife Jane, he leaves a son, Jason Sekscenski of Cromwell and a daughter, Carrie Zangari and her husband Matt of Berlin; five grandchildren, Kadie, Eli and Jason Sekscenski, Jr.; Kahlan and Margaret “Maggie” Zangari; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Ron was predeceased by a sister, Joan Malone.

Funeral services are Tuesday 10 AM at Sacred Heart Church of East Berlin, 48 Cottage Street, East Berlin. (Please go DIRECTLY to the church). Burial with military honors will be held at the CT State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown.
