OBITUARY Ronald Stevens October 27, 1940 – August 2, 2018 Ronald Lee Stevens, 77 of Myersville, Maryland, passed away on August 2, 2018 at Meritus Medical Center. Born October 27, 1940 in Martinsburg, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Frank C. and Phyllis S. Stevens. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Kate Stevens, who was the love of his life; sister-in-law, Sandy; nephew, Chris and wife, Tammy and sons: Tyler, Trevor, Trey, and Trace Stevens of Alabama; nephew, Lucas and wife, Lindsay and daughters: Alexis and Lauren Barnhart of Martinsburg; and niece, Amanda Barnhart and son, Michael of Shepherdstown.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Frank C. Stevens Jr. in 2017. Ronald proudly served in the United States Army attaining the rank of Sgt. He was a 1958 graduate of Martinsburg High School, a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Middletown, Maryland where he was an usher for several years.

He was a boy scout and enjoyed bowling. His work careers included: Baxter Labs as an inventory control supervisor, Fairchild as a production control manager, and Raytheon as a government property manager. At his request, graveside services with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday at 11am at Rosedale Cemetery with Pastor Kathy Vitalis Hoffman officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to American Cancer Society or your local animal shelter.
