Life Story for Rose Uva Rose D. Uva,age 94, passed away peacefully on Thursday September 4, 2018. She was born on July 30, 1924 in Peekskill, NY. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Louis Uva, who were married on April 21, 1956 at the Assumption Church in Peekskill.

. Rose was a 50 year resident of Buchanan,NY. She was a long time member of the Buchanan Ambulance Corp.

She was also a long time Telephone operator at the formerly Bellsouth Telephone company of Peekskill. She is survived by her sister Julia Kern. Rose will be waked on Thursday September 6, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 at E.O. Curry Funeral Home in Peekskill, NY.

Her Funeral Mass will be held at St. Christopher’s Church in Buchanan, NY on Friday September 7,2018 and she will be laid to rest directly following the funeral mass at the Assumption Cemetery.
