Rosemarie M. Freier, 85, of Myerstown, died Friday, May 18, 2018 at her residence. She was the wife of John L. Freier, to whom she was married 66 years on May 17, 2018. Born in Quakertown on October 27, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Cecelia (Miller) Geiger.

A 1950 graduate of Quakertown High School, she was a member of Mary Gate of Heaven Catholic Church, Myerstown. Rosemarie was employed as a cashier at The Bon-Ton, Quakertown. She enjoyed painting, camping, going for lunch with her friends from Arbor Gate, and was a former member of the Red Hat Society.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, Thomas, husband of Kathy Freier, of Upper Black Eddy, Steven Freier, of Perkasie; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Eileen Althouse, of Florida; brother, Leonard, husband of Beth Geiger, of Ottsville; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. at C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 821 W. Broad St., Quakertown, preceded by a visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 855 Tuck St., Ste.

2, Lebanon, PA 17042.
