Rose M. Guido, 95, Penfield, passed away Sunday, June 03, 2018, at Christ the King Manor. She was born August 29, 1922 in Tyler, PA, daughter of the late Salvatore “Sam” & Anna (Rizzo) Giardino. She was married to Ralph J. Guido, who preceded her in death in 1959.

Rose was born and raised in Tyler. She graduated from Huston Township High School and Cosmetology School. She retired after working as a Beautician for over 40 years, owning Roses Beauty Shop in Penfield.

She lived in Penfield for 45 years and has been in DuBois at Christ the King for the last two and a half years. Rose was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Force. Rose is survived by two children, Dennis (Kathryn) Guido of Kersey and Kathleen (John) Lobb of Penfield, a sister Mary Winkler of DuBois, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents and husband, Rose was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas Guido, a brother, James Giardino and a grandson, Shawn Guido. There will be no public visitation. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Force, PA with Father Mark Mastrian, celebrant.

Burial will take place in Morningside Cemetery next to her husband. The family suggests memorials to BV Ambulance, St. Joseph Church in Force or the Gateway Humane Society and will be accepting online condolences at www.
