Rose Mary Leitner, 73, passed away June 12, 2018 at The Heartford House in Owensboro, Kentucky. She was born January 22, 1945 in Tell City, Indiana daughter of the late Oscar and Eva Lee (Dickman) Poehlein. Also preceding her in death was her sister, Kay Seibert.

Rose Mary was united in marriage December 28, 1968 to Dennis Leitner at Evangelical United Church of Christ, where they are still members. She also was a member of Hoosier Heights County Club, and enjoyed genealogy, crocheting, making afghans and photography. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Dennis Leitner, son, Derek Leitner (Kip), Delmar, Maryland, brothers, Gary Poehlein, Dublin, Ohio and Ray Poehlein, Hammondsport, New York, three grandchildren, Evan, Landon and Grayson Leitner.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM CST Friday, June 15, 2018 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Evangelical United Church of Christ or Purdue University Center for Cancer Research.
