Obituary for Mrs. Rose Sophie Vojacek Rose Vojacek, age 89, of Chicago passed away peacefully August 26, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Edward John Vojacek; Loving Mother of David John Vojacek; Dear grandmother and Legal Guardian of Walter John (Tracey) Vojacek & Sharon Ann (Joseph) Vojacek Plaud ; Cherished great grandmother of Vladimir West Vojacek and Sofia Rose Plaud. Loving daughter of the late Jacob Dziura and Catherine Palka; Devoted sister of the late Josephine Smol, Mary Dziura, Stella Gorny, John Dziura, and Francis Dombrowski.
Rose was a kind selfless woman. She put everyone before her. She wasn’t just a housewife but also a home beautician for family & friends and a caregiver.
She raised her Grandchildren Walter and Sharon and cared for her Father In-law John August Vojacek, Mother in-law Lydia Francis Vojacek, and her husband Edward John Vojacek in our home till their passing. She was a devoted volunteer at Park Ridge VFW Ladies Auxiliary for over 40 years. Serving as President, Treasurer, and party and raffle host.
She was an amazing cook, baker, gardener, and talented crafts and crochet maker. She loved sports and was one of the biggest Chicago Cubs and Bulls fans around. Rose was the rock of our family and no words can explain how much she is loved & will be missed.
Visitation Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Muzyka & Son Funeral Home, 5776 W. Lawrence Ave. Chicago. Chapel Service 9:30 a.m. Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the funeral home going to St. Constance Church for 10:00 a.m. Mass.
