Rosemary Glasgow, 86, of West Burlington, died at 2:58 pm Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at the Great River Hospice House in West Burlington. Born May 26, 1932, in West Point, IA, she was the daughter of Edward and Irene Strothman Boeding. On October 12, 1950, she married Harold Glasgow in West Point, Iowa.

Rosemary was a homemaker. She graduated in 1950 from St. Mary’s High School. Rosemary was a member of Divine Mercy Parish and the Altar and Rosary Society.

She loved planting, taking care of flowers, taking walks and the color pink. She enjoyed her grandkids ballgames. Rosemary was famous for her homemade noodles and pie baking.

Survivors include husband, Harold Glasgow of West Burlington; four sons, Jerry (Kim) Glasgow, Bill (Susan) Glasgow, and Jeff (Julie) Glasgow, all of Burlington and Terry Glasgow of Norwalk; two daughters, Susan (Greg) Eastin of Burlington, and Kathy (Mike) Cameron of West Burlington; 12 grandchildren: Tyler (Julie) Glasgow, Sarah (Ryan) Jacobs, Travis (Carly) Eastin, Amber O’Neill, Jacob (Meagan) Glasgow, Lucas (Kim) Glasgow, Ben (Shawna) Cameron, Nick (Kali) Eastin, Blake (Rachel) Cameron, Chris Eastin, DJ (Samantha) Glasgow, Anne Glasgow; nineteen great-grandchildren and one on the way; two brothers, Harry Boeding of Mt. Pleasant and Dick Boeding of West Point; one sister, Darlene Umthun of Ft. Madison; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and grandson-in-law, Kevin O’Neill. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM with the family to receive friends following a 3:00 PM Rosary Service until 6:00 PM Sunday, December 16, 2018, at Prugh-Thielen Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection for Rosemary will be 10:00 AM Monday, December 17, 2018, at SS.

Mary and Patrick Catholic Church, West Burlington with Very Rev. Father Marty Goetz as the Celebrant. Music will be provided by the Des Moines County Resurrection Choir.

Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. A time of food and fellowship will be held in the Parish Hall at Divine Mercy Parish-SS. Mary and Patrick Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for The Great River Hospice House.
