Rosemary “Rosie” Crego, age 69, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at her residence. She was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church and previously St Agnes Catholic Church. A proud and lifelong supporter of Bishop Ready High School.

Rosie was a bookkeeper with First Community Church for 25 years. Preceded in death by: Parents: William and Rosemary Spires. Brother: Michael Spires.

Survived by: Husband: Dean. Children: Amy (Matt) Wood, Molly (Jason) Whitmer, Cary (Angie) Crego, Cheryl (Kipp) Hitchcock, Pat Crego and Les (Vic) Iddings. Grandchildren: Ryan, Reagan, Addison, Bryn, Luke, Payton, Colbie, Welles, Chantee (Michael), Amanda, David (Shayna), Samantha and Brandon.

Sisters: Ellen (Larry) Fox, Nancy (Dan) Mitchell and Peggy (Bernie) Niehaus. Brother: Bill Spires. Numerous great grandchildren, other family and friends.

Special thanks to staff with Mt. Carmel Hospice. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 2693 W. Broad St., Monday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM.

Funeral Mass, 10:30 AM Tuesday at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 473 S. Roys Ave. Father Patrick Toner and Father John Johnson, Concelebrants. Entombment St. Joseph Cemetery, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to either the Zangmeister Cancer Center, Haven of Hope, 3100 Plaza Properties Blvd, Columbus, OH, 43219 or Bishop Ready High School, 707 Salisbury Rd. , Columbus, OH, 43204.
