Rosemary (nee Corbin) Dierdorf, of Harrison, passed away on March 5, 2019 at the age of 93. She was born on September 30, 1925 in Clay County, Indiana to the late Herbert and Desta (Coble) Corbin. Rosemary graduated from Cory High School in 1943.

She married Arthur Harold Dierdorf on June 15, 1947. They enjoyed 70 wonderful years together. When Harold was transferred to Cincinnati in 1952, Rosemary was working for Eastern Motors Trucking Co. in Terre Haute, Indiana and received a transfer to work in their Cincinnati office.

They were blessed with twin daughters: Susan and Sally, and a son Jon. Rosemary was very active with their children as a Scout Leader, 4-H Advisor, member of the Hamilton County 4-H Advisory Committee, Eastern Star Chapter 376 and a Sunday School teacher at the U.M.C. Rosemary worked for the Harrison Village Water Department and retired after many years as secretary of the Harrison Bowl. She enjoyed bowling and playing Bridge with her friends.

Rosemary and Harold enjoyed retirement by vacationing and being active in their grandchildren’s lives. Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband: Arthur Harold Dierdorf; Parents: Herbert and Desta Corbin; siblings: Marvin (Sylvia) Corbin, Joe Corbin, Erma (Don) Kirkling; brother in law: Bruce Albright; and great granddaughter Gabriella. Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Susan (John) Roell, Sally (Robert) Ruskaup and Jon (Debbie) Dierdorf; wonderful grandchildren: Lorrie (Patrick) Golden, Steven (Gina) Roell, Allen (Danielle) Ruskaup, Michael (Jessica) Ruskaup, Kristen (Jason) Campbell, Carrie (Lawrence) Edmister, Kelli (Scott) Tungay and Matthew Dierdorf; Great Grandchildren: Christopher, Katelyn, Ryan, Alina, Luke, Gracieann, Andrew, Carolyn, Waylin, Annabeth, Will, Samuel, and Nathanael.

Also survived by her siblings: Robert (Jean) Corbin, and Dorsann Albright; sister in law Betty Corbin and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 4 pm until the time of the Order of Eastern Star Service at 7:30 PM at the Brater Winter Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11 AM at Brater Winter Funeral Home with Rev.

Mason Seevers officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. John’s UCC or the Shriners Burn Hospital.
