Rosetta Cofield was born March 2, 1949 to Herman and Savannah Evans. She was the oldest of the 2 children from this union. She departed this life on July 6, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her father and granddaughter. Rosetta was a loving and doting mother and grandmother. She was a kind, generous and compassionate friend.

She had a creative spirit and loved to sew and decorate. She made every place she went a beautiful sight to see. Her smile will never be forgotten.

She found her calling as a Case Worker for the State of Kansas, where she was able to mentor many in the community. Rosetta leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Savannah Lee, daughters: Artis Gunnels and Arielle Cofield: her “son”, Duane Vaughn, Jr.; grandchildren: Cali and Santana Vaughn; two sisters: Betty Garrett and Sherry Williams; a brother, Anthony Williams; two special friends: Mary Nichols and Patricia Finley; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
