Roy Charles, Jr. October 24, 1962 – December 24, 2018 Roy Charles, Jr., 56, of Port Arthur passed away Monday, December 24, 2018 at Mid Jefferson Hospital. He was a native of Franklin, Louisiana, and a longtime resident of Port Arthur, Texas. He is survived by his daughter, Latasha Polidore; three grandchildren, Jaquallion Polidore, Dequallion Polidore and Larry Allen, Jr. all of Jeanerette, Louisiana; three sisters, Flora Charles Paul of Port Arthur, Texas, Loria C. Rylander of Franklin, Louisiana and Irma A. Charles of New Iberia, Louisiana; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel, 2500 Procter Street at DeQueen Blvd. , Port Arthur, Texas with visitation from 12 noon until service time. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
