Mr. Roy Chester Penny, 90 of Benson passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 surrounded by his family. Mr. Penny’s graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 9, at 3:00 PM at Harnett Devotional Gardens in Dunn. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Benson on Saturday, March 9, from 1 to 2:30 pm.

Mr. Penny’s survivors include his daughter, Darlene Penny of Benson; sons, Robert L. Johnson Sr. and Marty of Benson; Jeffrey and Edith Penny of Benson; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, sisters, Elsie Smith of Burlington; Carolyn Lee of Graham; brothers, Jimmy Penny of Liberty; Vann Penny of Prospect Hill; Odell Penny of Benson. Mr. Penny is preceded in death by wife; Dean Lee Penny, parents; George and Hettie Penny, brother; Lee Penny Condolences may be made at www.
