Soni Blair Lynn, 30, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019. Ms. Lynn’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 4:00 pm. The service will be held at West & Dunn Funeral Home Chapel in Benson with the Rev.

Lee Smith officiating. Ms. Lynn will be laid to rest at Banners Chapel A.C. Church Cemetery in Benson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 29 from 3 to 4 pm and at other times at the home of Ricky Gilbert at 119 Hunting Lodge Rd.

Soni’s survivors include her mother, Tina Maria Lynn; her father, Ricky Gilbert and wife Kristie of Clayton; her children, Ava Canady, Caleb Canady, Jayden Lynn and Morris Covington; sisters, Christina Hunt of Vermont, Meredith Hauser of Fuquay Varina; Hannah Gilbert of Clayton, Leah Gilbert of Clayton, Randi Hardee of Benson and Jasmine Hardee of Dunn; a brother, Christian Lynn of Benson. Soni was preceded in death by her brother, Caleb Wayne Bevil.
