Dunn, NC: Mr. Richard Harrisson Tart, age 51, of 450 Wilson Lucas Road died Monday, May 27, 2019 at his residence. A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 AM-Friday, May 31, 2019 at Roselawn Cemetery in Benson. Mr. Tart was born on May 24, 1968 in Harnett County to Carolyn Stephenson Tart Champion of Dunn and the late Richard Thomas Tart.

He was a correctional officer with the North Carolina Department of Correction and also a security guard with Food Lion warehouse in Dunn. Surviving in addition to his mother include his wife of 25 years, Mary Lynn Tew Tart; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas Dewayne and Sherry Tart; niece, Lauren Evans; nephew, Thomas Dewayne Tart, II; step-father, Roy Champion all of Dunn; father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Joyce Tew of Surf City. The family will receive friends 6:00PM – 8:00PM, Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson.

Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements by Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
