Roy Raymond “Ray” Harrison, Jr., 75, of Woolford passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at UMSMC at Easton. He was born in Easton on February 7, 1943 and was a son of the late Roy R. Harrison, Sr. and Hazel “Geraldine” Jackson Harrison. Mr. Harrison graduated from St. Michael High School Class of 1961, and continued on to trade school at the Baltimore Engineering Institute and graduated in 1962.

On June 12, 1965, he married the former Lorraine Robey. Mr. Harrison worked for the Maryland Cup Corporation and retired from Celeste Industrial. He enjoyed doing Charter Fishing trips, snow skiing, reading, hunting, and power boat racing.

Mr. Harrison also had his pilot’s license and enjoyed flying. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 91, Masonic Lodge #123, Scottish Rite in Salisbury, Boumi Temple and the Eastern Shore Shriners. He was also a member of Tilghman Island Fire Company, Choptank Memorial Post 7460 VFW Auxiliary, and the Cambridge Powerboat Racing Association.

He is survived by his wife Lorraine Harrison of Woolford, three daughters Michelle Waller and husband Patrick of East New Market, Dawn Edgar and husband Steve of Cambridge and Karen Harrison of Cambridge, six grandchildren Tyler Edgar, Zach Waller, Logan Waller and Madden Waller, Kyle Hardy and Jessica Hardy, a sister Phyllis Sadler of Tilghman, and two nephews Ken and Roy Sadler. Pallbearers will be Ken Sadler, Wayne Smith, Tyler Edgar, Kyle Hardy, Steve Edgar and Patrick Waller. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 11 am at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev.

Douglas M. Ridley officiating. Interment will be private at Tilghman United Methodist Churchyard. Family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm.
