OBITUARY Ruben Valdez November 3, 1965 – December 16, 2018 Ruben Valdez, age 53 of Duncanville, Texas passed away on Sunday morning, December 16, 2018 at his residence in Duncanville, under the care of hospice. Ruben was born on November 3, 1965 in Lubbock, Texas a son of Eusebio Valdez and Connie (Galindo) Valdez. His mother Connie Valdez survives in Dallas.

He was preceded in death by his father: Eusebio Valdez, one son in infancy: Ruben (RuRu) Valdez Jr., and one brother Marino Valdez. He is survived by his wife, best friend and soulmate: Sylvia (Solis) Valdez who he married on April 29, 1995 in Duncanville. He is also survived by three sons: Nicholas Valdez, Noah Valdez and Nathaniel Valdez, all of Duncanville, Texas.

One sister: Diane Valdez of Dallas, and one brother: Ray Valdez of Dallas. Though Ruben was born in Lubbock, Texas, he was raised in Dallas and attended LA Stemmons gradeschool and Justin F. Kimball High School. He graduated High School from JFK in 1984.

A memorial service and celebration of life for Ruben will be held on Thursday, December 20. 2018 at 10:00 AM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, located at 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220. A light reception will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home following the service.
