Ruby A Hendrickson 88, of Eugene, Or formally of Pendleton/Adams area passed away in Eugene on Thursday, April 19, 2018. She was born March 13, 1930 to Floyd and Suzie (Wishon) Waters in Low Gap, Arkansas. Ruby grew up in Mount Sherman, Arkansas and attended school in Kansas City, Missouri.

She moved out west and lived in Yakima and Woodland Wa before settling in Pendleton in 1973. She married Howard E. Hendrickson on February 28, 1979 in Walla Walla, Wa. She worked as a Nurse’s Aide and Direct Care staff at The Eastern Oregon Training Center.

She retired from there in 1992. She enjoyed needle work and gardening. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #28.

She is survived by a daughter Susan Asbill (Denny) of Eugene, Or; sons: Jerry Waggoner (Kristi) of Dayton, Wa; John Waggoner (Virginia) of Athena, Or; and Jeff Waggoner (Eileen) of Pendleton, Or. She was preceded in death by both parents; Sisters: Daisy Farmer, Dolly Shumate, Jean Scroggins-Low, and Margarit Kilgore. The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
