Obituary for Mrs. Ruby Beane Ruby Ethel Maness Beane, 94, of Seagrove, died Sunday, July 8, 2018 at First Health Hospice House in West End. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at Union Grove Baptist Church, Seagrove. Officiating will be Rev.

Brian Beane, Rev. Larry May and Rev. Arnold Comer.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Richmond Co., NC, Mrs. Beane was born February 29, 1924, the daughter of the late Walker and Mary Ethel Maness. She was retired from Luck’s, Inc., with 13 years of service and was a member of Needham’s Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Beane was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur F. Beane, son, Jerry Beane, brother, Willie Maness, and sister, Pauline Reeder. Survivors include her sons, Jimmy Beane and friend, Dean Highsmith, Jackie Beane and wife, Marie, Ted Beane, all of Seagrove; daughter-in-law, Grace Beane, of Seagrove; sister, Gladys Beane, of Seagrove; sister-in-law, Vivian VonCannon, of Archdale; grandchildren, Janet Singletary, Jennifer Smith, Shantra Gray, Derek Beane, Brian Beane, Todd Beane, Dana Cottom, Chad Beane; and eleven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at Ridge Funeral Home, Asheboro, and other times at the home of Jackie and Marie Beane.
