Spanyer, Ruby C. (Grimes), 89, a beloved wife, loving mother and doting grandmother, born in Hardin County, KY, went to her heavenly Father on January 11, 2019. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband of 62 years, Robert J. Spanyer, and sons Joseph C. and Vincent P. Spanyer. She is survived by 10 children: Mary Kramer, Rose Seibert (Don), Mark, John (Mary Anne), Joan Beck (George), Robert (Brenda), Lynn Fralick (Dave), Donald, Thomas (Ronda), Timothy (Michele); 35 grandchildren, 60 great and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation Monday January 14 from 1-8pm at Ratterman-Keenan Southwest Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Rd (40216). Funeral Mass of the Resurrection 9:00am Tuesday at St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Bethany Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy to Mass of the Air or Little Way Pregnancy Center.
