Ruby’s Obituary RUBY SHELTON, 92 Ruby Shelton of Lake Wales passed away Monday, January 14, 2019 at The Groves Center. She was born August 21, 1926 in Brevard, North Carolina to the late Tobias and Connie Owens; she came here from North Carolina in 1955. She was a homemaker and enjoyed singing and watching wrestling.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Volley Shelton; children, Bradley, Daniel, Barbara, Rhonda and Judy. Survivors include her daughter, Molly Glass and husband, Max of Lake Wales; sons, Bobby Shelton and wife, Dawn of Frostproof and Toby Shelton of Lake Wales; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and fifteen great-great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 28, 2019 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
