Graveside services for Ruby Lorrine Ross, 87, of Hudson, will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. at Wallace Chapel Cemetery with Pastor D.R. McNaughton officiating. Ms. Ross was born November 10, 1930 in Athens, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Norman Fair and Martha Jane (Cory) Fair, and died Saturday, July 7, 2018 in Lufkin. Ms. Ross loved flowers and to cook.

She is survived by her son, Billy Ross of Hudson; son and daughter-in-law, Lynn and Delene Ross of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Denisea Ross of Huntington; son, Edward Ross McDonald of Houston; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Ms. Ross is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jessie “Bud” Ross; daughter, Mary Ann Ross; and sons, Jerry Dewayne Ross and David Ross McDonald. Shafer Funeral Home, directors.
