Russell Roberts August 04, 1944 – March 16, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Funeral services for Mr. Steve Russell Roberts, age 74, of Silas, AL will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Silas First Baptist Church in Silas, AL with Reverend Don Whigham and Reverend Randy Byrd officiating. Interment will follow in Edgar Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 until 11:00 prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Roberts passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at his residence in Silas, AL. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Jean Stokley Roberts of Silas, AL; son, Steve Scott Roberts of Silas, AL; daughter, Rhonda Jean Roberts of Silas, AL; brother, Tony Roberts (Patty) of Grove Hill, AL; sisters, Linda Ferguson (Doug) of Selma, AL, Sue Fuller (Billy) of Jackson, AL, and Jane Guy (David, Sr.) of Jackson, AL; and grandchildren, Nicolas Boykin (Macy), Corrin Roberts, Molly Roberts, and Jon Tyler Tindle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Northrop DuBose Roberts and Agnes Louise Pugh Roberts; brother, Jimmy D. Roberts; and sister, Betty Graves.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dylan Campbell, Zachary Roberts, Dewey Stokley, Albert Stokley, Tony Singleton, and David Guy, Jr. Honorary pallbearers include Ryan Donald and the men of Silas First Baptist Church.
