Russell A. Walz, born on February 6, 1938 received his Heavenly wings on September 7, 2018. He leaves to cherish his loving and devoted wife of 36 years, Patricia Walz; children Ella, Eleanor, Elizabeth and Allen; devoted daughter-in-law Patsy Torres; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Nancy Reed (Paul), Joyce Robinson (Roy), and Judy Hairfield.

Friends may visit from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 11 at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. N. Chesterfield, VA 23234. Russell’s funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 12 at the Morrissett Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pine Street Baptist Church, 400 Pine St. Richmond, VA 23220.
