Ruth Ella Sticklin, 80, of Wellsboro, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at her home. She was born April 12, 1938, in Wellsboro, a daughter of the late Clair and Myrtle (Vandergrift) Brown. In 1974, she married Harold Sticklin, who preceded her in death in 1999.

Ella was a 1956 graduate of Wellsboro High School. She was employed as an L.P.N. at Broad Acres, Wellsboro. Ella was a member of the Wellsboro United Methodist Church.

Surviving are one sister, Grace Stewart of Florida; one nephew David and his wife Theresa Stewart of Stafford, Virginia; one niece Patti and her husband Ron Weagle of Florida; two grandnieces Heather and her husband Major Mike Walsh of California, and Brittany and Jamie Gevelinger of Wisconsin; and two great grandnieces, Abigail and Elizabeth. She is also survived by three step-children, Arnie (Sue) Sticklin of Wellsboro, Barbara Jones of Blossburg, and Marlene (Tom) Doan of Osceola, along with their children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Ella was preceded in death by one step-daughter, Bonnie Parker.

Funeral services will be private. Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd. , Mifflinburg.
