OBITUARY Ruth Emily Couck May 14, 1919 – January 24, 2019 Ruth E. Couck, age 99, beloved wife of the late Joseph. She is survived by her loving sons Robert (Barbara) and Gary (Roxanna), grandsons Robert (Stephanie), Richard (Errin) and 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Virginia Mentzel, and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Couck graduated from the New Jersey State Teachers College in 1940. She loved teaching and taught for 30 years at Avalon elementary in St. Clair Shores. Ruth was also a volunteer at Bon Secours Hospital for 25 years.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to Lake Shore Presbyterian Church in St.Clair Shores.
