Ruth F. (Glover) Marvill, 83, of Brockton, passed away peacefully June 12, 2018. Born in Brockton, she was a daughter of the late Ruth (Drake) Glover and Myron Glover. She was devoted to her family and home and enjoyed country music, reading, picnics and traveling to the White Mountains.

She was the beloved wife of Donald C. Marvill since 1957; loving mother of David Marvill and his wife Lori of North Dighton, Ron Marvill and his wife Kelley of Bridgewater, Christine McCarthy and her husband Leroy of Rockland and Sandra Marvill of Brockton; dear grandmother of Steven, Joshua and Justin Marvill; great-grandmother of Julia, Jake, Jonathan, Bryce, Braden and Madison; sister of Edith Zirngiebel of Pembroke and the late Millie Lyons and Everett, Billy and Junior Glover; and an aunt of several nieces and nephews. All are welcome to a calling hour Saturday 10-11 a.m. and 11 a.m. service in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton. Burial at Pine Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Christ Congregational Church, U.C.C., 1350 Pleasant St. Brockton MA 02301.
