Obituary for Ruth Imogene Keysser Ruth Imogene Keysser, age 85, of Nixa passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018 in her home. She was born in the Nixa area on September 3, 1932 to Earl and Margurite (Horn) Melton. She was united in marriage to Orlen Keysser in 1951.

Ruth was a homemaker and loved cooking and canning. She was famous for her home made rolls. She was always making them for family, friends and all of the church dinners.

She enjoyed planting gardens and loved mowing the yard. Ruth was a long time member of Calvary Bible Church and was very active until this last Memorial Day weekend. Ruth was very active and outgoing.

She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Ruth is survived by a daughter Regina Keysser of Springfield; a son Fritz Keysser, his wife Jonie, of Nixa; and a brother Richard Melton, his wife Cindy of Springfield. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Orlen; a granddaughter Cristina Keysser; and a brother Roger Melton.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, September 6, 2018 in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, September 5, 2018 in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Richwood Cemetery, Nixa.
