Ruth Joanne McMillin 1931 – 2019 Ruth Joanne McMillin, 87, of Fayette and formerly of Kansas City, passed away at her home February 1, 2019. Ruth was born in Fayette on May 26, 1931, a daughter of Marvin Scott Magruder and Hazel Maddox Magruder. Prior to retirement, she was employed with the University of Missouri Kansas City.

She enjoyed sewing and reading and playing games on her tablet. She is survived by her daughter and loving caregiver, Carol Jean Jones and husband, Lorenzo of Fayette; a brother, Sammy Magruder of Raytown, MO; and by ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Raymond McMillin and a grandson, Joseph Aaron Page.
