Ruth’s Obituary Annie Ruth White, 79 Ruth White of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 at Lake Wales Medical Center. She was born August 15, 1939 in Ft. Meade, Florida to the late Robert L. and Athena (Lyles) Hathcock.

She has been a lifelong resident of Polk County. Ruth worked in the Cosmetic Department at Eckerd Drugs and was of the Christian faith. Ruth was a longtime employee at Alcoma and CGA.

She was dedicated to her family and loved spending time with them and enjoyed working in her yard, shopping and traveling. She is survived by her daughters Jan Balliett and husband Arthur of Lake Wales, FL, Sandy Stephens and husband Elmer of Lake Wales, FL, Tracey Thompson and husband Scott of Lake Wales, FL, sister Donna K. Wilson of Terre Haute, IN, brothers Louis Hathcock of Winter Haven, FL, Dennis Hathcock of Gainesville, FL, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Memorial service will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Up at the Cross Church 318 S. Scenic Hwy Suite 310 Lake Wales, Fl.
