Ruza Istocka, 85, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018 following an extended illness. She was born in Macedonia on April 27, 1933 to the late Boris and Stefanka (Zedekovska) Gerasovski. Ruza was a retiree of Perry Rubber and was a member of St. Nikola Macedonian Orthodox Church.

She was active with the church and dedicated to her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, George (Mary) Istocki of Stow and Nada (Vlade) Alalakovski of Florida; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Petre (Draga) Gerasovski of Macedonia. Ruza was also preceded in death by her husband Aleksandar Istocki; a brother, Vite ; and a sister Draga.

Friends may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 6 pm-8pm with a Panihida service at 7:30pm. Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Nikola Macedonian Orthodox Church on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 11am, celebrated by The Very Reverend Zoran Zdravev. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
