Ryan Edward Hill, 17 years old, from Julian, WV gained his wings on Friday March 22, 2019 at home. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Virgil Bowman. Ryan will be missed by his grandmother, Karen Bowman of Julian, WV; mother, Nicole Simmons of Julian WV; his dad, Jonathan Simmons of Cross Lanes, WV; his father, James Hill of Madison, WV; three sisters, Cassandra (Cassie) Hill, Abby Hill, and Amanda Hill; one brother, Phillip Hill; cousins, Emilie ton and DL Bowman; and his aunt, Jennifer Bowman of Charleston.

Ryan was a Junior at Scott High School. He enjoyed video games, making people laugh and being with friends and family. As a family, we would like to let all kids out there know that if you’re suffering from depression, please ask for help.

We’re the same you and me. I have feelings just like you. If I stare would you be blue?

Would you feel different and out of place? Look at me and see my wonderful grace. When you pass me on the street, don’t you dare look down to your feet.

Look me straight in the eyes. Let’s talk about today’s bright and beautiful skies. Say hello, ask about my day.

You’ll find out I have so much to say. So the next time you see me out and about, I’ll smile at you have no doubt. Say hello, how’s your day.

A Celebration of Life – Class of 2020 will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, March 24th at Scott High School. Service will be held at 2 p.m.Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville with the Rev. Garry Bowman officiating.
