Obituary of Sabine Temple-Eickhorn Sabine Temple-Eickhorn, 62, of Rhinebeck, NY, passed away on Wednesday, January 30th, 2019 at the Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, NY. Born in Germany on November 24th, 1956, she is the daughter of Nora (Seraphin) Kimbark of Rhinebeck, and the late Carl Homer. Sabine was a beautiful soul, always giving and full of love.

One thing she loved the most was her daughter, her son and her three grandsons. Family always came first to her. She enjoyed painting and loved to use bright colors because those signified happiness.

She absolutely loved the ocean, she loved the tranquil feeling that the ocean gave her. She loved being outside in the warm weather, she called it her dose of vitamin D. She loved nature, loved the beauty of it. She loved animals especially her little dog Teddy, she spoiled him with her love.

This might sound funny but she was addicted to Popsicle Tropical sugar free icepops, she literally would eat one whole box a day! She was a people person, she would strike up a conversation with just about everybody, she always said that she loved people. Her heart will live within all of us and she will forever be loved and dearly missed.

In addition to her mother and step-father, Nora and Donald Kimbark of Rhinebeck, she is survived by her loving children, Christie Temple of Rhinebeck, NY, and Joshua Eickhorn of Woodstock, NY; her grandchildren, Javon Temple, Omari & Jamari Pittman; her sisters, Delane Homer, Darcy Homer, and Vancy Bodenhorn, all from the state of Washington; along with numerous extended family and friends. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Burnett & White Funeral Homes 91 E. Market St., Rhinebeck, NY.
