Sadie Jones-Davis, 78, of Paragould, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018. She was born October 21, 1939, to Everett and Goldie Flanery. Sadie enjoyed singing and playing the guitar.

She loved her dogs and was a member of Reynolds Baptist Church. Sadie was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Charles Jones, Wendal Huckabee, Carl Davis; son, Charles “Chuck” Jones; grandson, Joshua Jones; brothers, James, Homer Alfred, Henry W., Isaac, and R. C. “Peanut” Flanery; sisters, Esther Rosamond, Ann Sims Jackson, and Virginia Bryant; and special friend, Joy Compton. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, LaKendra Jones; stepsons, Gene Davis, Roger Davis, Nathan Davis; stepdaughter, Regina Lawrence; sister, Sharon Brown; grandchildren, Jennifer Jones McIvoy, Jason Jones, Sherry Jo Hickman, LaKinyah Jones, Kyeesha Jones; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 11, at 1:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Roger Tidwell officiating. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery in Pocahontas, AR.

Pallbearers include Mike Wooldridge, Harold Allen, Dewayne Phelan, Harold Diggs, Terry Buchman, and Matt Davis. Nathan Davis and Bob Schrader will serve as honorary pallbearers.
