Samantha Rapczynski, 28, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 18, 2018, at Bayonne Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Samantha was employed as a hotel concierge at Trump Plaza in Jersey City. With a heart of pure gold, Samantha was fiercely loyal and devoted to her family and friends.

She will be deeply missed and remembered for her beautiful smile and energetic spirit that touched everyone around her. She was predeceased by her father Francis J. Rapczynski in 2010; brother Peter Francis Rapczynski in 2016; grandmother Theresa Susoljak Nose; her aunt, Rita Bawiec; cousin Anthony Gamoneda; and her great uncle Alphonse Susoljak. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved mother, Deborah (nee: Adamiak) Rapczynski; sister, Amanda Rapczynski; nephew, Joshua Rapczynski; her godmother, Linda Bawiec, her aunts and uncles; Joseph Bawiec Sr.; Joseph Bawiec Jr. and wife Paula; Joseph Rapczynski and wife Barbara; Heather Rapczynski-Lazare and wife Shanon; Linda Gamoneda and husband Rigo; and cousins, Kaitlin Wallace and husband Riley; Lauren Bawiec, Joey Rapczynski, and Jennifer Gamoneda-Mercado and husband Eddy; and her adored canine companion Bentley; Also survived by many dear friends.

Viewing hours will be held at the Dworzanski & Son Funeral Home, 20 East 22nd Street, Bayonne on Wednesday, May 23, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. A funeral mass in Samantha’s honor will be held on Thursday, May 24, at 10:00 am at St. John Paul II Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 39 East 22nd Street, Bayonne.

Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
